Garage 42 was built to make owning special cars easier. Since 2019, collectors across Greater Boston and New England have trusted our team to store, protect, move, and maintain their vehicles from a private, purpose-built facility in Acton.
Every service is handled or overseen by the same people who look after your car every day: enclosed transportation in our own vehicle transporter, professional detailing in our own bays, paint protection, seasonal wheel and tire service, and full coordination of mechanical work through specialists we know and trust.

Enclosed Vehicle Transport
Your car travels in Garage 42's own enclosed vehicle transporter, driven by our on-staff driver, who has years of experience moving high-value vehicles. We handle it door to door: home, dealer, specialist shop, track, concours, or auction, anywhere in New England and beyond.
Managed Services
Tell us what the car needs and we take it from there. We schedule the work with the right marque specialist, transport the car in our own enclosed vehicle transporter, oversee the job, and return it ready for your next drive. Annual inspections, seasonal preparation, service, and repairs are all handled without you making a call or leaving home. Every service is documented in your vehicle's record, so you always have a complete history of the care it has received.
Wheels, Tires, and Light Mechanical
Seasonal wheel and tire changes are done in-house on our touchless-capable Hunter tire machine, and your off-season set is kept in our dedicated wheel storage area. We also handle light mechanical work on site. For anything larger, we manage the job through our specialist network.
Paint Protection
Preserve your car's finish with ceramic coatings and paint protection film (PPF), all arranged through Garage 42. Ceramic coatings are applied in-house by our own detailer, and PPF installations are managed by our team from start to finish. From full-front and high-impact PPF to multi-year ceramic coatings, we build each package around how you actually use the car.
