About The Business
Garage 42 was founded in 2019 to be Greater Boston's premier car storage company. In 2023 we moved from our original location in Woburn to a facility which we designed and built from scratch to meet our unique operation requirements.
Our new Acton facility has the capacity to store 200 cars, making us the largest car storage facility in the Boston area, but our small, mature, and knowledgeable staff makes us the trusted source for enthusiasts and collectors.
Our primary focus is on collectable car storage, alleviating the space and time constraint that limit many of our customers ability to pursue their passions. Whether you live in Boston, the suburbs, or even another state, we have the resources and knowledge to take care of your vehicle. Our goal is to make the ownership of enthusiast cars easy with our in-house detailing, transportation, and management services.

Josh Dumond
Josh had a very successful career as a high- caliber manager for a large hospitality chain, but he gave up that lifestyle to feed his true passion for all things automotive with us at Garage 42.
Head Detailer
Ryan Doherty
Ryan ran his own detailing operation for 7 years until he realized that running the business was taking away from his time actually practicing the craft of detailing. He joined the Garage 42 team as head detailer over 3 years ago and hasn't looked back.
Operations Specialist
Derek Wynters
Derek has many years of experience in high-value vehicle transportation. He joins the Garage 42 staff as a valued set of experienced hands and our exclusive transporter.
